- I had the V1.0 ROM, I also called them and within 3-4 days, I had the
- new one. Unfortunately, it lasted only 2-3 days and then wouldn't
- work at all. I called again, and they said they would send another
- out. I waited... and waited... and waited... I even gave them the
- benefit of the doubt... and waited some more as it was December, and
- just before Christmas.
-
- Finally, on Tuesday of this week (Jan 2). I found their corporate
- number ( I had been trying the support number... busy...
- busy...busy...) and the name of the Director of Quality and Customer
- Service through a Wall Street Journal on-line reference. I gave him a
- call directly. He was very nice. And so was I, even while expressing
- my frustrations. He said they would get one out to me UPS in 3-5
- days. I requested if there was any way to speed that up, it would be
- appreciated.
-
- Today is Thursday (Jan 4), and I just replaced my old modem with the
- completely new one they sent me via UPS Next Day Air. Things are
- working great so far. I haven't checked to see what version I have,
- but it hasn't hung up on me yet, which was the problem I was having.
-
- I really appreciate it when a company follows up, even if I did have
- to call high.
